The White Buffalo

The White Buffalo digital color study for painting. More for my night time/myths/legends series. No I don't think of the white buffalo as a myth, I think of it more as a great legend and a beautiful story, that could be true, I don't know enough on the subject to say. The White Buffalo Lady is a Sioux religious belief that is similar to them as the story of Jesus is to christians. A Messiah story so to speak.

Finished, I moved the moon, feels more natural to me now.

Sphinx WIP

Color study for the painting I'm working on right now. It feels a bit naked right now, I may add some trees or some sort of architectural things near her.

The Argyle Owl's Moon Song

I added some foliage to it, I feel it looks better now.

New Painting

I had sort of a vision/idea of an owl with argyle patterning on it's belly one night before bed. So I sketched it out and this is what I came up with. "Moon Song" with the argyle owl. Acrylic on Pine.
