Moon Song Prints Pre-Orders

I've had a lot of people emailing me asking to buy or interested in buying some of my original pieces that I'm saving up for my first solo show. So I thought I'd offer some of them as prints.
Right now I'm taking pre-orders only and they'll be $50.
Each individual painting will have ONLY 50 signed prints.

I'm taking pre-orders starting November 21st at midnight and I'll be taking pre-orders for 2 weeks. Ending December 5th at midnight. Payment must be received by December 5th at midnight to be able to get a signed print. After this I'll be offering a limited number of regular prints for sale.

The first 50 sphinx prints are hand embellished!!!

Rupert the Square

I've been working on Rupert for a show called "Stuff This" at Rivet Gallery. He's taken me 2 weeks to hand sew so far, I have a few more parts of him to re-enforce then he'll be done.
Hope you dig him. He's got a magnetic hat and peanut that can interchange, and bean bag feets so he has a nice pleasant weight to him. His square shape was inspired by Amanda Visell's elephants.

Book Series

My husband and I are soon to be embarking on a very ambitious journey to write a short series of books for young children. I'm nervous and excited, it's a huge market and I know that it could either bomb majorly or be an awesome success or fall somewhere in between. I'm hoping to post more on this soon, just wanted to tell people. :)

I whipped this up in the last couple of days. She's not perfect, but I think it's cute. I do hope to one day have Argyle Owl toys made. For now I'm satisfied with having made this one.

Argyle Owl Kokeshi Doll

I've been really excited since I saw the blank Kokeshi dolls in Juxtapose magazine. So I went online and got on the waiting list, bought one and it came today! I was thrilled and sat around all day thinking about what to paint on it.

I decided finally around 2 am to paint my Argyle owl on it. So I did, turned out to look more like a penguin to me, but I still like it.

The White Buffalo

The White Buffalo digital color study for painting. More for my night time/myths/legends series. No I don't think of the white buffalo as a myth, I think of it more as a great legend and a beautiful story, that could be true, I don't know enough on the subject to say. The White Buffalo Lady is a Sioux religious belief that is similar to them as the story of Jesus is to christians. A Messiah story so to speak.
